ABOUT DECISIONSedu

DECISIONSedu is an innovative substance abuse educational service that specializes in conducting informative, motivational presentations and sessions designed to offer understanding, hope, and direction to:

• Those in treatment for substance abuse or preparing for treatment


• Addiction treatment professionals and support staff in need of new educational and/or motivational tools in working with those in recovery


• Family members and loved ones of those affected by substance abuse

DECISIONSedu was founded by Dawn Fitzgerald, MSW, LCADC, ICAADC, a Licensed Clinical Alcohol & Drug Counselor and Internationally Certified Advanced Alcohol & Drug Counselor. Ms. Fitzgerald has worked in a full complement of substance abuse settings in clinical, medical, and legal arenas including residential, outpatient, and detox facilities. In addition, she has extensive teaching experience on the college level as an Adjunct Professor of Substance Abuse and Human Services.

One constant throughout her career has been her passion for educating others about substance abuse. Hence, her decision to create DECISIONSedu.

DECISIONSedu offers a variety of topics and programs designed to educate and motivate, and can be conducted at your organization, facility, or company site for small and large groups, as well as individual or small group educational sessions at the office location of DECISIONSedu.
